I'm looking at upgrading the burb to some nice aluminum rims, I have a set of slotted mags i could use but they hve all kinds of rock rash on em. I'm going with 37x 12.5 SSR or BFG Mud.

go with the 16's you can air them down unlike the 16.5's and if you go to a dana 60 front they will fit with no mods /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

the burb will never have a dana 60 unless they are doing a 2 for 1 deal,LOL. The wagon gets the 60 first and that won't get a 60 til my old coupe is up and running.

I was also looking at the 17's they would have a stiffer sidewall..better for towing since that is the whole idea of the burb is to be towing the wagon.

I'd go with either the 16's or 17's. You might pm IGOR about the 17's. He's running 17's with the BFG's /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

tough call dude... if ur gonna run BFGs/ProComps I'd say go 17... if you want intercos I'd say 16s... best tire selection overall 16.5s... but no safety bead. anyway, u mentioned bfgs, so I'd have to recommend 17s.

Really tough call.....16's in wide widths are hard to find, 16.5's, best selection, but can't air down, & 17's wheel prices are, ouch!

17's are the wheel of the future. Thats what I would purchase if I was going to buy wheels are tires right now.

17's are being sold for around $100 in aluminum and around $50 for steel (Discount Tire and FWPW has them just have to ask)
