I dont know about the 14FF, but I would have to say yes. My friend is running a 71 3/4 ton with the larger rear brakes and a funky looking FF(Rockwell, i think) he is running 15x10 wheels all the way around, all he had to do is grind a little off the frnt calipers. I am not sure which back spacing he has though, but the tire dont stick out past the fender wells.

I have heard the same thing about 16.5's... I would go 15.

Emmett I guess your as busy as me toay!!LOL
On the subject of the wheels, the 16.5 dont have the lip that
regular wheels have to hold the tire on the rim where the beed is at.They are bad about keeping tires on rims when aired down.

IF IT AINT BIG IT AINT BAD!!!!!!

Keep in mind if you run 15" wheels, you can only use steel because alum is to thick. I run 16x10 with 36" swampers, but selection for tires is slim although getting better, you can now get 38x16x16 Baja Claws - could be my next tire.

I've converted my Jimmy to 3/4 ton and I'm using the 16.5" rims and 35x12.5 General Grabber MT's. I wheel my truck with as low as 16 psi on the rocks and hav'nt lost a bead yet. Mind you I stuffed the Generals on 16.5x6.75 stock steelies, the narrow rim width has'nt been a problem for handling or tire wear, and the tire stays where it belongs. Not only that but the rims are real cheap to replace if you bash one to hard on the rocks (I've got 3 spare rims, all free). Besides I kind of like the hub cap look.

The 16.5's do have less "grip" on the rim, due to the lack of the "safety bead" that is present on 16's and 15's. 16" steel rims will fit for sure, prolly also aluminum. Steel 15's fit w/grinding on the calipers. I would try for 16's if you can find the tires you like.

I run 12 psi in my 35" boggers on 16.5x12 rims w/o problems. I also have run down to 10psi in my 35" BFGs on 16.5x9.75 rims w/o ever popping off, but 10 psi was in sand.

Just looked at National Tire & Wheel ad in the Sept edition of 4Wheeler and it says that there's a 37x12.5R16 coming soon for the Super Swamper SSR. Just another option..

I run 15x10 steel wheels on mine. I have a FF 14 bolt and Dana 60. No mods were needed for the rear but the front calipers needed some grinding. I say go with 15's.
