    16\" rims, downside?

I have been seeing lots of posts about grinding D60 calipers, and limiting backspacing to make 15" rims fit, is there any major advantages of 15" rims over 16" rims? Are 16" rims to avoid?
    Thanks

16"s are fine but there is more 15" tires made and 15" tires are cheaper. I'm going to run 35/12.5x16"s on my truck. I don't like 16.5" rims as they have a taper seat bead and it's easier to slip the bead off when aired down.

There are not many tire choices in the 16" rim size.

the only down side to a 16in rim is fewer tire size choices but they are starting to make more /forums/images/icons/smile.gif
