    just thought i'd let everyone know that as of today i am 16. my search for a blazer has begun, contrary to my parents belief. so the questions will soon be raining in.haha.

    i just looked at pics of the jimmy, and its nice. but i kinda wanted to do my build up. im hopin to keep this as a second ride when i get older, so i wanna do it all on my own. thanks anyway though.

    it's no problem bud. i understand because i went through the same thing. i didn't want to "buy" my 4x4, i wanted to build it. oh yeah, Happy 16th!

    im waiting for my 17 now....and some advice on blazer shopping...DONT BY THE FIRST POS YOU SEE..like i did...you will regret it the minute its in the garage...lol

    sorry it took so long for me to reply, been gone and kinda lost the post. but thanks for all the reply. and as for buyin one, one of my good friends dads has a car lot and gets into private auctions, he said he could find me a good one for pretty cheap, so i think im set there, but i get to go see them there to. thanks again.

    sounds cool....when im lookin for my next truck i think im ganna check out the auctions and see what i can find as well!! get pretty good deals that way!

    yea, the private ones are the best. its only dealers. and because i know the guy, i pay him what he pays, and take it right from the auction. also, he can get it before it goes up by making an offer before in the lot. its a sweet deal for me. now i just gotta talk my parents into letting him start lookin for one, the tough part.
