Of the Old Iron, this would be my pick too...

My Wife has promised that someday if we have the money she's going to buy me a mint one... I'm like you, I don't want an SS, I want a Plain Jane one and I want to make it blindingly fast, probably something like Pro Touring with great handling and top end stability with good mpg.

Did you see the buildup Hot Rod did on the '67 they gave away at the 2003 Power Tour???

Bought one back in 96 with a tilt front end.(Paid a whole whooping $100.00 for it) No motor, tranny, or intearor. (Yeap, couldn't spell that one, but hopefully you know what I'm saying.) It sat along side my house for alittle over 6 months till some guy offered me $1,400.00 for it as it was.(No rust) I couldn't say no. Really wish I hadn't sold it now.

Agreed, that interior is gay, no matter what it came out of.

[IMG] Yeah, it doesn't work for me either, but it is a improvement over the stock dash, but just barely. Personally I'd go with rolled aluinem with Autometer gauges, and a crome Hurst shifter. But then again, I kinda like the classic look. But you've got to admit, they did a good job grafting that interior into that 65 Chevelle

yea they did a good job grafting but its still an ugly interior. Remindes me of a grand prix.
