not really sure. Maybe www.fullsizechevy.com those guys are mostly into the Vortec rigs. If you have the harness it should be easy. Just find where all the connections go(for the most part they usually can only go ONE place). If you get this done post up about it, I'd love to see it.

why would he need a standalone harness? He has his computer setup, he has the electronic controlled transmission, all he needs is a VSS setup for whatever transmission he runs, O2 sensors in the proper places in the exhaust and it should be ready to go. Standalone would only help if he had just the motor.

    vortec swap

I did a '98 5.7 vortec into my '85 K5. Love it. Only 4 wires to hook up for it to run. The rest is for gauges (oil, temp, batt.). I'll get the phone #'s tommorrow.

Sorry, I got side tracked. Here's the place's I used.

    www.jimsperformance.com 866-383-5786. (wiring harness modified) $150.
    www.fastchip.com 918-446-3019. (reprogrammed 'puter) $350.
    www.autoperformanceengineering.com 866-383-5786. (external fuel pump) $140.

Any other ?'s just ask. Later Ed.
These price's are about a year old. April 04'. Works well I like how they preform. Ease of installation.
