    Hello !
.And here is some new pictures too...Now body sits straight on the frame...and the smallest gap between body and frame is some 1/2 inch...and i bought complete Cadillac 500 cid `75 y. engine...and barn doors are installed too...
And question:Is here somebody installed Cadillac`s engine on your truck?
Does you know some links about this conversion...?

Glad to see it coming along.
This is the first time I've seen anyone try to get a 1ton frame under a burb, but it loks like it's coming along well for you. Keep us posted on the progress. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

    Martin,
Looks good. 1ton Burb witha 500, that's real heavy duty. :waytogo:
Here's motor mount link if you haven't seen it yet:

Did you basically have to put a 3" body lift on? I've got a K30 and I'm debating wether to put the 1ton drivetrain into the Burb or swapping the Burb onto the K30 chassis. Which do you think is less work? I was trying to stay away from a body lift, that's why I was leaning more towards putting the K30 drivetrain into the Burb and Burb frame.

Still got the 24v heater for sale? pm me at tovaritch@shaw.ca. THanks.

In my case 87y. Sub body was RWD with some 5litre engine...so i put the body on the CUCV1010 drivetrain. The body sits very close to frame somwhere under second seat row...something about 1/2" or less...
If You have 4WD Sub i think the converting only 1 ton axles is better idea , and body sits on the frame nicer too...
Here in Estonia is only 3-5 Suburbans from 80-s.
And about prices here:Set of new American Racing 20" aluminium wheels cost in local US Parts store about 3800.-$. :(
Edit: CUCV 1010-S heater is still available, but its located here in Estonia...i think too far for You...?
    Sorry my english.

    Martin,
Guess I'll just swap the 1ton drivetrain into the Burb.

Yeah, your alittle too far away. Your in Estonia? Well then I guess we are 'komrades'. :D I'm Ukrainian. Maybe we have some kishka and vodka some day? ;)
