I've heard alot of good about these new venture tranny's .My 87 K5 has an SM465 and an NP208. Can I swap in a 92-94 NV4500 and bolt it up to my NP208? or would I need a a different T-case Too? Or is there an adapter for this conversion? What type t-case was typically found on the NV4500's. and we're they anygood?

A NP208 that was mounted behind an SM465 should bolt right up to a NV4500, they both have a 32 spline output. When I put a NV4500 in my truck the input gear on my transfercase had to be changed from a 28 to 32 spline gear because I started with a 700r4.
