    1st Gen. 2.5\" Flip kit?

I need help! I need to know exactly what the differences are between the 2.5" 73+ and the 4" 69-72 shackle flip kits. Is it mounting holes or spring width or what? I have a 72 and the 2.5" kit would be a good complement to my current system. I think I would have to replace my new shocks to add the 4" kit to my current lift. Will the 2.5 work on a 72? Any help would be great. /forums/images/icons/confused.gif

69-72 and 73+ shackle kits are not interchangable. the springs pads on the diff are a bit closer together on the 69-72 blazer. the width of this is also built into the shacle itself at the chasis end.

The brackets are different and not interchangeable, all the dimensions are wrong.
We don't have plans for an early 2.5" flip but it may be something we'll look at. The bracket will be kind of a funny looking thing but it can most likely be done. Don't hold your breath on it, there's nothing solid yet.

Dude! Any plans for a 2" flip yet? I would like to do something less than 4" on my '72. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Not yet, I haven't even looked at the feasibility yet. Hate to not help everybody at once but we've got other irons in the fire at this point.
