1'st gen axles in 2'nd gen blazer???

    1\'st gen axles in 2\'nd gen blazer???

    Anybody know are 1'st gen and 2'nd gen blazer spring spacing the same?

    Nope /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif, I am re-welding mine on a 1st gen rear this week. They are about an inch different overall. The best way to do it is to get the old ones off and then slide it up and under and mark where the springs are. Just make sure the Drive Shaft is straight when you do it.

    what about fronts? the axle i am looking at is suppsed to be a d44 from a 71 or 72 3/4 ton truck?

    The front axle spring perch distance is the same for all SFA trucks 67-up. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
