I didn't even have my license yet. My Mom made me drive with my boots that were to big after I explained it to her. I was driving and the light turned red, I went to hit the brake but my foot hit my left foot and i couldn't get it over in the correct time without locking up the brakes, so I went for it.

The boot wouldn't get on the pedal because there wide and I don't have a wide foot. The photo radar popped me and sent the picture to my mom. What can I do about this, if im not mistaken isn't she supposed to get the ticket and not me? If I get the ticket I plan on going to traffic school sense I have my license now. It should give me some valuable information that I could use hopefully. So what are you guy's thoughts on this?

    Thanks Guys

Are you a legal adult or a minor?

Judging by your story I would assume you're a minor.

umm if you don't have a permit or license, you mom ought to pay for it being as she made you drive...

if you have a permit... grow a back bone and tell your mommy you aren't driving with boots that are too big... sorry dude that just comes off really ****ing strange.

    You're the driver, your ticket.

As for your mom, she be cited for letting an unlicensed driver drive.

I had my learners permit though, isn't that being a licensed driver?

If you read it, It might not be a ticket, but a notice of violation. If that is the case they want her to voulunterily tell them who was driving so they can send the driver a ticket. But that is vouluntery. My friend got one in mesa, but the truck is in his wif'e name, so they sent here the violation notice, and wanted her to tell them who it was. Of course she didn't.

She doesn't have to tell them. When the license number came up, it was a female owner, and a male driver, so they know it isn't her. what mesa told my buddy's wife to do was send in a pic of her drivers license( which they already had anyway) and say that she didn't know the driver. but She does know the driver so she sent in the license copy and said it wasn't her. read the ticket carefully, it is probably just the notice of violation, and on the back it should say to vouluntarily tell them who the driver is.

Well I talked to her today and She says its just one of those violation things. I asked her to make a photo copy of the paper so I could clarify this.
