I was topping off the fluid this morning and once the overflow started, I noticed some metal shavings flowing out with the fluid. On the other hand I am having NO problems with it. Is this SOMEWHAT normal? Should I just change the fluid and go till it drops?

#2 DOES anyone have the part # for that GM Blue grease for the Slip Yoke splines? I've tried marince grease, white lith, sythetic, hi-temp, wheel bearing, yada yada. All these greases have to low a run off/out factor and it doesn't stay in there very long.

Will work for beer, parts and tools.

Try CV axle grease - the stuff you pack into the CV boots on IFS trucks. VERY sticky stuff!

Metal shavings in drained are not normal. That case has a magnet in the bottom that should have caught that...methinks something is wrong...
