2.5\" backspacing. Is that too much?

I need a set of 15" 8 lug wheels for my Blazer. I found a set of chrome wheels with 2.5 inch backspacing for only $63. Is that too little backspacing? What is the recommended backspacing used? D44 front, 14 bolt FF rear. I would like the wheels to stick out a little more than they do right now.

Those 2.5" b.s. will flare your tires out a little. They will also allow better clearance on the D44 so you won't have to grind as much, if any.
