    2.5\" or 4\" Shackle Flip?

I'm currently trying to plan out a suspension that will give me pretty good flex in the rear without being overkill. The plan is 6". I want to use 2" Tuff Country springs with a shackle flip. Here's the question though, do you think I would get more flex with a 4" shackle flip or if I used the 2.5" shackle flip and then made up for the other 1.5" with a longer shackle? To me it seems like the longer shackle would have a longer arc and would let the spring stretch out and droop more. Can anyone shed some light for me?

I would go the 4" and also consider using "revolver" shackles. check this link out. web page

Revolver shackles are evil, ask anyone who has owned a set. You will make a topple machine.

Yeah, I've heard lots of bad about the revolvers. I was figuring on using a shackle about 3" longer than stock. Supposedly you can get these from companies that make kits to lower trucks.
