    2\" body lift is here!!!

it arrived today! /forums/images/icons/grin.gif my 2" body lift is here. i've done a 3" on mudbogAD's jimmy before but never on a suburban. is it any different? i noticed 2 mounts on the sub have no bolts through them but all the pucks have bolts in them. and it's a 2" kit but the shifter extension is 3" long is that a problem?

Those 2 areas that have no bolts, I've seen where people have left them out and drilled holes and put them in, I personally put them in. As for the shifter length, you may not even have to extend it...I had a 1/2" of extra length on my stock shifter, but I went ahead and made a new one anyways. One little mod that isn't mentioned with the kit that I did on mine, is after you lift the body (including rad) you will have a gap under the lower rad shelf, I took and installed stock axle bumpstops (the 3" tall ones) one on each side to help eliminate the gap and provide cushioning if it gets jarred on the trail. Hope this helps yeah.
