i installed a 3" on my buddies (mudbogAD) jimmy on sat and all you have to do is unbolt the shaft at the firewall and dash so it can move freely and lift away! it has a slip joint in it that takes care of it. with a 3" body lift mudbogAD's steering is fine. so no worries man.

Yes, exactly what muddysub said. It works fine without any mods.

One problem I am sure you are going to run into, because I did is with the transmission linkage. I installed ORD's 1" Body lift and my shifting was all off. It turned out to be the transmission likage was "stretched". So I am just saying this because I ran into the problem with my 1" so I know you probably will. Let us know how it turns out. Good Luck
