I think that's worse than than the truck with the lift block rearend All the trucks on that page run the deep swamps what I can't figure is what good is it to keep the engine down low (other than lower Center of gravity )Where it would be in the mud and water Linkages would be a pain also /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif

thats why I think its a mud dragger. You know just go in a straight line in not very very deep mud? Thats the only thing I can think of where that would work out. Well sort of work out, its still insanely dumb I think. Especially since i really think it is 2 body lift blocks stacked! The amount of torque on those body lift blocks has to be INSANE!! I could see pulling a few bolts out of the body and frame mounts.

I 've seen what happens when home made body lifts take a dump a kid I went to school with made a body lift out of stacked hockey pucks (About 4-5" ) the front left cab mount failed and bound up the steering shaft as he was coming into his driveway ended up plowing into his moms new truck messed it up pretty good and pretty much ruined his truck a 3" body lift is the most I will ever go on my trucks /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif

yeah I think at most 2" just cuase I simply odn't like the looks of them. I would NEVER home make a body lift. Seriouslly a body lift doesn't cost that much there is no reason to make your own, unless you want to be dumb and go bigger than 3". The biggest body lifts I have seen is like when someone put a car body on a Bronco frame, that was liek 5" or so.

I don't like the look of a 3" either to much space between the bumper and the body And i don't like the idea of raising my bumpers with a 2" it makes the body sit level with the bumper /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif

right I don't like the spacing and I hate to see frame under my truck(on the 90 I will just have to deal with the way it is from the factory). On IFS chevys with a 3" body lift you see like the ENTIRE frame, I hate that. Skirts to hide the gap can't hide the frame.

yep those "new" trucks look funny with body lifts I'm not a fan of those skirts either the gap between the frame and beds not as bad as the gap between the body and bumper /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif
