2\" or 4\" ??

I have a 71' K5, now running 31" tires on stock suspension. Would a 2" suspension lift ( no blocks ) work w/ 33" tires? or is it recommended to use a 4".
Im worried about rubbing. I would perfer not to lift but thought a 2" would be ok. Suggestions? Thanks

Yes, a 2" lift will work for 33s. I had a 4" with 33s for a while, and they never rubbed. I would lift a tire first. Now I have 36x12.5s and they rubbed so out came the sawzall [IMG] and they no longer rub (until i get it back on the rocks). You could even fit 35s with minimal trimming.
