2 wheel drive/ 4 wheel drive box ?s

    I thought I saw on here that the pitman arm shafts (not the arm but the shaft the arm mounts on) interchange from the 2 wheel box to the 4 wheel box but could not find it in my searching. Is this correct, if so it would be much easier than swapping the whole box since mine is good. Thanks for any help.

    I've seen aftermarket arm for 4WD box,but,don't know of stock arms that will swap.If can find where saw it will post. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

    If someone doesn't give a for sure answer try sending "Depdog" a pm... I seem to remember him saying something about doing that exact thing.

    yes, the shaft is interchangeable.
    might as well replace the seals at the same time.

    Thanks, I'm gonna change the whole box eventually I am tapping the 2 wheel drive box for hydro and doing the seals on it so while I'm doing that and getting the hydro parts I still wanted to be able to drive.
