No brakes lights. The blinkers and Hazards work but they are usually on a separate circuit. Not a fuse and not the bulbs. Any Ideas? It is the Woman's parents rig and they have really bad luck, their warrenty just ran up.

sounds like maybe a hazard switch recall. What do you think Ryan?

If the 3rd brake light works it will be either a blown fuse under the hood ( i think its a 20A) or the turn signal module in the column. If the 3rd light doesn't work it may be the brake light switch.

yeah, im thinking something to do with the turn signal/hazard switch.

i left the gm dealer right about the time that recall came if full swing, so i really cant say about the recall but yeah, thats what it sounds like

Thxs guys for the ideas. It turns out I can turn on the hazard lights and turn them off and the brake lights work again for a little while. First thing I could think of besides fuses and bulbs was the brake switch on the padel but it was a no go. I hate newer vehicles with all there fancy electrics. Thats why I drive a 78 K5. Thxs again
