2003 Durango - Green springy thingy under the steering wheel....

    I removed the plate that is infront of your knees (when you are seated in the drivers seat). Behind the plate was something that had a green springy-thingy (nice term, huh) around it. It was mounted to a piece of metal under my steering wheel. It did not move whenever I tilted the wheel. Anyways, out of the back was what looked to be the rubber housing that goes around a cable (like the one for brakes or something). I know its a very very bad description and I hope to get a picture of it up tomorrow, I just thought id ask and see if by some strange coincidence someone else happened to know what the heck im talking about.

    that ia the clock spring, serious that is whats its called.
