Not that I am a Nissan fan or anything, but that Nissan is probably just as if not more American as that Chevy... They are both made w/ parts from overseas and assembled in the USA.
Oh, and that Nissan will walk all over that Chevy, especially w/ a trailer on the back.

I wouldnt doubt it. The Titan has a 5.6 liter V8 with I think 345 horses. Its more powerful than the 1500 chevy. Then again, the titan was meant for more hauling than the 1500 gmc.

yep all the 04 1/2 ton trucks got the alluminum block 5.3s, the 3/4 still have the iron 6.0 with alluminum heads until 2005 i believe. Yeah those little trucks can scoot especially with the swb and a standard cab. Yeah of course the titan will walk on a half ton even though it wont be by much, put it up against a 3/4 and well see who cleans up. Yeah btw, all the half ton trucks now come with the same 5.3 that came in the ssr roadster. But for 2005, the SSR AND the GTO are getting the all alluminum 6.0 ls2 that comes in the new c6. It also has been confirmed that gm is in fact putting the new 500hp corvette z06 into production. Which by the way will be very detuned straight from the factory. A performance shop owner I know already has one on reserve when it is delivered and is planning on making 700hp with heads, cam, exhaust, and a tune:eek1: .

I don't know of any plans to put all aluminum 6.0s in trucks yet, and I believe 05 is the first year for the all aluminum 5.3L.

Isn't the Titan a 1/2 ton built to compete w/ the F150, Chev 1500, and Ram 1500? Why would you compare that to a 3/4 ton???

I dont give a **** how fast that Titan is, look at how small the brakes are compared to the chevy. I would venture to compare the titan to a standard 2500 chevy, not the 2500 hd. Isnt the Titan advertised to pull 8600 lbs too?
