Here are some pics of what the general is going to be offering us for new trucks in 2008. I am still undecided on it.

i dont care for it to much.. why are all the new trucks coming out with such big looking grilles/ frontends? I also thought that chevy rumorred(sp?) a solid front axle truck for the heavy duty series, any one know if this is true??

I think that is smokin' ! Glad to see the chrome bumpers instead of painted ones. I hope they make the 6.0 liter standard!

The front looks like a Honda Ridgeline. I have a 2001 silverado and I think that will be my last new truck. They have been butt ugly ever since.

Likes: Body syling, front end, rear end, roof rack, wheels, hood has the potential for a bada$$ cowl hood.
Dislikes: huge chrome bumper, vertical chrome lines on grill, stupid flared bed, everything body color except the tailgate guard/spoiler thing, WTF?!!

I don't really like it too much. I think it kinda looks like an oversized compact pickup.

You should only have flares on the bed if it is a stepside! Like this one:

What are the specs on the thing?

A heavy duty SFA would be like a wet dream... :p:

I wasn't thinking Honda I was thinking Nissan Titan. I think it looks good but the 73-87/91 still ranks as my favorite.

Looks like a cross between a nissan titan and a toyota tundra. it looks hideous! I agree that they have only gotten worse since 2002. is there someone telling all these manufacturers...that people want vehicles that look like absolute crap?! because for some reason...that's all any of them seem to be producing anymore. they just get worse and worse every year.

FUGGLY........I hate fords, but the Super dutys kick the **** out of Chevys for looks....I told a product rep at the Chicago Auto Show a few years ago when the Avalanche came out it looked like crap in the front........He said "thats good because our research shows that in a couple years you will really get to like it"
    NOT.
I just think GM is going in the wrong direction for styling these days, as far as fullsize trucks go.
    Maybe I'm just getting old.

I could like the front end with a different bumper. Lose the roof rack and the bulged out bed and I could be pretty nice with some decent rims and a lift.
