Ok, after reading the "poor man's doubler" post, I've been thinking. I've got the t400/205 setup now, but the tc needs gone through. Was the 241 ever offered behind a 400? Or would it be easier to find a 203 so later I could do the rich man's doubler? Thnks, Tom.

you have the most desireable t-case. the TH400 205 is worth alot, so let's recap:

    you have:
    TH400 (A+)
    NP205 (A+)

You need a range box from a NP203 that will fit up to the TH400.

IIRC, the 241 was offered with a 700R, so i guess it would fit. The 208 would be more difficult.

My vote is the 400/203/205 combo , but if you need the 241 it was offered behind the 400 . Just look for the 32 spline input gear from a 400/241 or a 465/241 .
    Good luck , Tom

Is anyone making a reasonably price NP205/TH400 adapter? I'm sure I could get one from Advance or Novak, but I'm also sure they are pricey /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif. A junkyard is pretty much out of the question I guess.

The factory 400/205 adapter is still available new for around $200.
