I need to replace my rear seal and I need a refresher. I take out the U-joint remove the nut and pull off the yoke. Then does the seal pull out from there or do I have to take off the cone. Sorry if these aren't the proper terms. I don't have my manual here to check out the part names. Thanks for your help.

We pulled the tailpiece off. It's no big deal.

You can probably get the seal out without removing the rear housing. But like Mark said, remove the rear housing. It would be easier that way, and you would have a lesser risk of damaging the aluminum.
