That's a good question. I've been wondering this myself cause I'm probably gonna be swapping in a NP205 with slip yoke and already have a driveshaft from a 91 suburban.

I just took the slip yoke out of my 205 last night. I can count the splines and measure the diameter of the shaft and
    post it tonight.

The slip yoke on a 205 is 32 spline and 1 5/16 to the outside edge of the splines. I hope this helps. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif
