Which 205s had which adapter plates. I checked out the ORD 205 tech pages, real nice and helpful.

As I understand there is a round(6 bolts) and an hour glass, or figure 8 shaped one(8 bolts). And for the doubler the right t-case would have the figure 8 one.

Are the round adapter plates for the 350, 400, or 465 trans?
    The figure 8 is for?

Basically, the figure 8 is the old style (and most common by far) 205, and was used with 465s, TH350s, TH400s and a lot of Ford and Dodge applications. The round pattern is the new style, not sure of the changeover year (80 or later?), but used with the same trannies as well as the overdrive automatics.

Figure 8 patterns run up to '84.

Round pattern runs from '85 to '91.

My truck is an '80 model with a TH350 and it has the figure 8 pattern.
