205 gear sets (low)

    nope, its still in development. AFAIK.

    I hate to be a nay sayer but I just recently rebuilt my 205 and cant see how you could possibly fit gears that would be lower, or enough of a reduction to make a difference, into that case. Everything is just so close in there.

    Yeah, i thought the same thing. They may be machining the case, much like what WMS does (IIRC) to get the 3.1:1 203 Box.

    This I didnt know about? do you have any more info on it because imagine that thing hooked into a doubler!

    Nothing new on the 205 gears. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif The initial design work indicates that it will not require internal mods, and it's a full 5 gear set so evidently they just did squeek by with it. But I don't know anything more.

    And they split into multiple pretty chunks of alluminum when run under a full size...

    not many atlases break, even under full size rigs. Im sure it could handle my 350. 468 or big desiel? maybe not... but a mild 350? surely! AFA the $2500 comment goes... if ur in the market for a doubler, you can prolly afford an atlas. I mean, if you got the right 205 and 203 for free from a friend or some crap, then thats one thing... but if you have to buy/rebuild ones from yards etc you can spend quite a bit on a doubler setup.
