    this may be a stupid question but i have a 205 t-case and was wondering if it took ATF fluid or gear oil. My friends 208 takes ATF but when i drained mine it had gear oil.

    Techincally you can, if it's mated to an Auto, but it's better to use gear oil. 70/90W will do the trick.
