205 T case ???

    I cant believe i dont know this 1 for sure my self
    so i toss it out to all you pro's
    can the slip sleeve from a 350-205 ( early style the one withthe bearing )
    can it be used with the duel floating seals latter style 350-205 adapeter ??
    i dont have both here so i cant just try it

    I don't know,but I have the later style(no bearing)sitting in my garage.If you need measurements,tell me what you need to know.

    I believe they can. I also know the later style (non-bearing) is the stronger of the two. /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

    I was not aware of the earlier style.. what years was it in service? Must be pre-74 because my 205 adapter is from a 74 truck and its the double seal non bearing. Actually it COULDDDDD be later but the t-case that I robbed the adapter from in the first place was definately a 74 and I know for a fact they were mated for at least the last 15+ years..
