I heard that 205 transfer case is better build than 208, isn't it true? Is it a easy swap? anything else has to be changed?

are you having problems with your 208? If it was me, I'd just keep it in there until something happens to it, if it ever does. The 208 has a better low range than a 205. The 205 is stronger than a 208, but the 208 is still probably the strongest part of your drivetrain IMHO.

Will a 4" lift mess up my transfer case? I have a 4" lift on my 84', what else do I have to replace except the springs on front and spacer at the back? I am looking for a good 208.
