Used parts are only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I wouldn't buy one for more than $200. I guess it kind of depends on your location and demand. If everyboby and the brother has one there willing to get rid of your not going to get much. If they are hard to come by in your area you can ask for quite a bit more.
Are you buying or selling?

I wouldn't buy it if you are just looking for the t-case. He might part it out? But if both axles are in better shape than yours, $500 isn't to bad for two axles and a T-case. You might find a few more items on there you could use. I bought a parts truck for $600 and it was worth the parts. I guess you have to look and see how much its worth to you.

I sold a 10-spline 205 with the adapter and SM465 for ~$400. That breaks down into about $200 each...

Are you sure the '70 has an NP205? A lot of them have Dana 20s.

I believe the Dana 20's only came with the 6 cyl. Could be worng but I'm pretty sure that was the options.

I have a 1970 CST K5 and know for sure that it came with the NP205 that is in it. Look at this page http://coloradok5.com/specs.shtml#1970, it will show you that they did come with the NP205's. As far as price goes I would say that if you rebuild it you could get anywhere from $300.00 on up. If it is not rebuilt it will probably go for the $150.00 to $250.00 range. But thats just my $.02

See Ya,
Keith
