Has anyone ever put a twin stick shifter on their 205? How would it be done? I have not seen any web pages on it or anything.

There are quite a few web pages out there on how to do it, the mods are fairly easy but you ahve to make a new shifter. Here's one page - http://www.alaskaoffroad.com/tech_2.htm. Do a search here on CK5, on the web and most importantly, on the Pirate BBS.

or you could get the Currie Dana 300 twin-stick setup and adapt it to the 205. there was an article in Petersen's on this a few months ago.

I used the currie shifter on mine and made some custom linkage. If you are just using the truck for mud and sand why bother??

Well, it was a few years ago so you might have to dig a little deeper in the old mag stack. The problem is that was on a divorce mounted 205 so its not quite as easy as it might appear to be, but the article is a good starting point.

The article was in the August 2000 issue of Peterson's page 118.
