208 leaks at case halves

    By the looks of the case and the shop manual, I think I can take the rear half off with the T-Case installed.
    The manual doesn't say I can but, It looks possible.
    Anyone else tried to do it

    I think you can do that but I just pulled mine to reseal it.I wanted to pull it apart and see how every thing looked inside while I was there.

    I need to learn to take 208s apart, I thin that is good to know about how to re-seal them, or even rebuild them.

    I'm having the same problem, and I'm looking out in the junkyards for another K5 208. I figure I'll take the new (junkyard) one, rebuild it, put it in my truck, then rebuild/reseal my old one and sell it on ebay or something (or just keep as a spare, depending on my economic situation at the time)...
