    Will a 208 from a sm465 bolt up to a 700r4?

    No, the spline count on the input shaft of the 208 is differnet from the 700R4 and 465.

    You can swap the input shafts but that requires tearing the case all the way down.

    If you decide to swap the input shaft from the 465 input to the 700R4 input let me know. I might buy the 465 input for the 208 if the price is right. Thanks

    slider step? was I supposed to build you a slider step...??
    and I really am sorry about the 208.. I thought it was only the adapter...
    you didnt tell me you were going to actually USE the thing...I would have looked in da book for you..I thought it was going to sit in your shed for the next 10 years as a backup...
    when will vacation be over and you cant work on the k5? then Ill be safe

    Cam, With only 25k on the box and time on my hands before camping i thought i would get some shop time in. I did ask if it would fit. /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif
    The slider-step was my short wife comment as we were leaving. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
    If it keeps raining i might have to go up north and abuse your talents /forums/images/graemlins/weld.gif :weld
    I did get the jimmy back on the road and the antenna installed /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif
