241 crossmember and 12" of lift

    241 crossmember and 12\" of lift

    Just as the title reads, I've run into that problem again on this truck. I have the dumbest crossmember GM ever built and a whack of lift on the truck. What are some of my crossmember options, or what are some of the modifications you folks have made to clear your driveshaft past the crossmember?? I also bought a High Angle 42 degree CV, which is much larger than the 3R (compounding the problem)

    I'll probably clock the 241, but I'm not sure at which point yet (it hangs down 6.5" below the frame rails) but in the meantime, I'd like to see some of your solutions-

    You may have already seen it but there is a thread going in this forum for a group discount purchase tomorrow for a clocking ring for 241's.
