OK,
I got the 2nd gen tank, straps, etc to put in my 72. I know someone has done this before just don't remember who. I know i need to relocate the rear crossmember support.
Would i have to remove my hitch??
can i modify the skid plate to fit under there??
can i just rotate the sending unit so that the filler tube points in the correct dirrection??
what else do I need to look out for??

thanks,

ARQ.

What year is your tank? I'm going with a 87-91 tank when I do the TPI swap so I can run an in tank pump. I had a post about this a few weeks ago on this board and there were some replys fromt those who have done it.
