2wd steering box/crossover question

    will any 2wd steering box work for a crossover set up? what i have is a 1980 2wd 1 ton dually it also has the hyro assist brakes is it hade to swap that to a vaccume assist truck?

    the old style had diffrent line fittings. but will bolt up to your frame just need to use pump and hoses to fit. swap the whole setup.:wink1:

    The early ones were standard and the new are metric but you should be able to get an adaptor at a hose shop for the box.

    It may be exaxtly what you're looking for if your rig is 1980 or earlier. I believe the switch to different fittings was in 1981.
