2wd th400 output yokes any use to 4 wheelers ?

    are the HD 3/4 ton and 1 ton bolt-on style output yokes on 2wd truck th400s any use to 4x4 guys ? just curious

    I have one too and I will be trying to put it on the out put of a slip yoke 208.
    It's the correct spline count, and it has a small bolt to hold it instead of the big nut to hold it, so I should be able to drill and tap the shaft to accept it.
    The only thing that might not work is the thickness of the yoke and size of the seal.
    I will let you know how it works out.
