Hey first Gen gang... Ive got a buddy that wants to change his '70 Camper special, factory 402 2wd "grampa's truck" (really was his grampas truck) into 4wd. Has anyone here done that to thiers ? We'd like to just get ahold of a donor truck and start unboltin' and boltin' Would like you all's 2 cents on this first though.
    Thanks, TORI

Does the rear have Coils? I saw in Petersen's where they were converting that 60's truck which has the same frame as the 67-72. They left the coil's in the back and did a axle flip. I had wondered if anyone had done this before but that was the first I'd seen. Don't know how much travel you would get out of it though.
