3.08\'s to 4.11\'s. Must I change the carrier?

My Jimmy's got 3.08's in it right now and I'm about to replace my tired 305 with a bright shiny new 350 and would like to upgrade those crappy 3.08's to 4.11's and was just wondering if I need to buy a new carrier as well. I could also use the name of a good place to get new gears. Thanks guys.

On the 10 bolt axles there is one carrier for 2:56 only and then another one for 2:76 and lower gears.

Yep, if you have 10-bolts front and rear you do not have to change the carrier's.

Excellent! Now if I could only afford to have them installed... Too complex for my impatient brain.
