When swapping in the disc brakes on a 14FF using the new TSM brackets, do you need the 3/4 ton rotors and calipers off a 2WD or 4WD or are they the same? Thanks.

I do not know if they are the same or not, but you are looking for calipers for a 3/4 ton 4x4... (man this conversion goes really smooth actually)

My TSM brackets required front rotors from a 1980 F-250, 4WD. The recess on the backside for the heads of the studs is too small for the 14-bolt FF studs. TSM will sell you rotors with the recesses machined out larger, for big bucks of course... I just ground a few thousandths off of the heads of the studs (they're huge mutha's, so a little missing metal shouldn't make much difference) so they fit into the recess on the Ford rotors. Got the rotors for $34 each at Autozone. [IMG]

My calipers came off the rear of a '76 Eldorado so they have the integral mechanical parking brake.

The parts store has two sizes: 11-5/32 x 2-3/4(JB6) and
13 x 2-1/2(JB7). Which one do I need for this kit? Thanks.

You have the older TSM kit, the new kit uses the 3/4 ton rotors with no modifications needed.

I'm talking about the 3/4 ton Chevy 4x4 fronts to be used with the new kit. They have 2 sizes.

Would someone who has done the Chevy rotor swap be so kind as to measure the diameter of the rotors, please. Thanks.

Those sizes are for the rear drums.

Use NAPA #TS4885677 (True Stop) for 78-87 3/4-ton trucks.
