Is there a diffrence between front 3/4 ton springs and 1/2 ton spring? I dont think so but do they just have a higher spring rate. are the rear springs longer and will they fit?

    thanks for the help! /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

As far as i was told, the front springs are the same, i have noticed though the rear springs sometimes have more spring layers, thicker pack to carry added weight. Thats the only difference i have seen or heard about.

rear springs on most or all 3/4 tons (73-91) are 56" long versus the stock 1/2 ton length of 52". I have an 84 K5 and 89 3/4 ton Burb and thats the way it is between the 2. Front springs between them are exactly the same as far as I can tell.
