What axles and transfer case and tranny came with the 3/4 ton 1970 pickup trucks?

Corporate rear drop out rear with 10.25" ring gear, OR a Dana 60 (the corp has a round cover), Dana 44 front, open knuckle drum brake, TH350 auto trans, or 465 manual, and a NP205 case.

Also, that front has the smaller 260-X steering u-joints as compared to the 297-X u-joints that come in 73+ fronts.

So it's got front shoes and not pads...when did they start using pads?

Front disks were standard in 71. I would look for a 73+ front so you get the disks and larger steering joints (I broke both of my 260-X joints at the same time with 33s). If It's an Eaton drop out (kinda looks like a big full-floating Ford 9") I would pass, they're getting hard to find parts for. Either way, the rears wont bolt up. You will have to have the spring pads and shock mounts moved.

Some of the '73 front axles had the smaller U-joints...like mine. I was pissed when I figured it out. I hear its a low number though.

Alright...I was wondering because someone here local has a complete truck minus the engine for $450. But sounds like it wouldn't amount for much.
