My stock (1/2 Ton) master cylinder and power brake booster are both leaking (fluid, vacume) and I had a set from a 3/4 ton pickup that I was considering putting on. It looks like a direct bolt up but I wanted to make sure that the 3/4 ton unit will not over pressure anything. I was hoping it would just give me better pedal feel and a little more force to the brakes. I've got 33's and it just feels like I have to push too hard sometimes to make the truck stop.

Chances are they are the same... I've found that all the Chevys I've been in that lots of pedal effort is required. Except with the hydraulic assist brakes on the diesels.... I'd bolt it up and give it a try. You can buy a proportioning valve pretty cheap if the f/r balance if off.
