Are there any differences between a 3/4 ton and 1 ton 14 bolt? I saw in another post the the 1 tons have bigger brakes and the spring perches are father apart.

So far I have found that everything is in the wrong place!(perches, shock mounts, backing plates although they will work) As far as the guts, I think they are all the same.

  3. Single axle 1 tons are the same width, the perches and shock mounts are in diff locations.A 3/4 ton is a direct bolt in for a 1/2 ton rear. The break size depends on gvr of the truck they were in.

Do you know the overall length of a 3/4 or 1 ton single wheel axle?
