Does a 3/4 ton front 10 bolt or dana 44 have the same axles as a K5 1/2 ton d44? Use the same u-joints?

Stuck is a state of mind!

Given that it is the same year, the axles and U-joints are the same. Just the hubs, rotors and brake parts are different.

Given the same year, they may be the same as Blazer1970 said, but I know that my D44 from 1971 had 1/4 inch smaller diameter axle tubes than my 79 3/4 ton 10-bolt. The u-joint is the same. JT

74+ D44's use the same u-joints and axles and the pre74 axles use a smaller u-joint in the axleshaft but will still work in the 74+ if you use the complete pre74 axleshaft with the small u-joint.

All the 10 bolts use the same axleshafts and u-joints as far as I know.
