well, I've come up with 4 possible jobs at this point.

Job 1: State Job as a Freeway Management Systems Operator. here in AZ, our freeway systems have all sorts of sensors, montiring gadgets, gizmos, and cameras. I'd be a guy in a massive room, with 4 or 5 other operators, monitoring traffic slowing, accidents, problems, and etc for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. pay: good. Benifits: F$%^ing great, as with all government jobs.

Job 2: State Job as a Highway Photologing specialist. I drive a state van over every mile of road in the state, and take pictures of the road, landmarks, bridges, etc. some overnight travel, free hotels, and visits to vegas and laughland at least once a year. Pay:good. Benifits F$%^ing great, as with all government jobs.

Job 3. Towtruck driver. 40-60 hours/week, paid training, drive a flatbed towtow, and scoop up cars from wherever and put them wherever. Pay: good. Benifits: unknown. side benifits: use of towtow for personal hauling.

Job 4. Bookstore job. work in a book store, putting books on shelfs, helping peopel who don;'t know what a dewey decimal is, let alone the system based on it, and relax. Pay: enough to live on. Benifits: depends on store.

the state jobs want engineering background, and degrees, or previous experience in traffic flow, or traffic data field collection. the tow truck one is hinged on my friend's boss liking me enough to think I deserve the job. the bookstore one is what I'll do if I decide I to just hangout, and do nothing for a few months.

Well, if you qualify for the state jobs, go for it, especially #2. Of course after awhile, it would be old driving around the state, but it would be neat for awhile. Of course you got the benny package that comes with the job, and I don't know about out there, but a lot of governements, once you are in the system, you can transfer to other jobs that are only avaliable to you as a gov. worker.

The drawbacks are, you wouldn't believe what kind of deadbeats that are allowed to survive in these jobs. There are some at my work, it just amazes me.

Tow truck driver, might be cool. Saving a hottie late at night from a dead battery ala Penthouse.

By the way, just where the heck have you been keeping yourself? Missed you around here.

    Dear Penthouse,
I never thought the stories in your mag were true....until last night!
I was cruising the area of 24th & Van Buren, looking for some whores in the company truck. I was about to give up, when I got a call from dispatch.
I drove to the address, and walked up. As the door opened, my breath stopped in my throat as the most gorgeous piece of man to ever grace the earth came towards me. My heart was racing at the tought of his

    ah, enough of that crap.

Number 2 sounds like the best to me. I'd like a job where I could just kick back and drive, and take pictures.
