3'' LIFT

    3\'\' LIFT

    I am going to put a 3" inch lift on my 1989 Jimmy, what is needed besides the blocks for the frontend.... anything of do I even use blocks for the front. I was thinkin do I just get longer springs and longer shocks. Or will I need to have the blocks as well....     Gwahhhh ?

    Usual stuff for 3" lift would be front springs, your choice of rear lift in the form of shackle manipulation, new springs, or blocks. new shocks. Best to have new brake lines too. Steering arm... uhm... possibly some driveshaft mods.

    Lots of options in the $300 - $700

    Blocks are not for the front of your truck, that is bad bad thinking.

    What the hell did you just say anyway ?

    OK, take a look at this section of our webpage:
    burly burb buildup
    This should get you a good start on the lift, there are some non essential extras on the burb, like greasable bushings, etc, but the basics are there, like the other reply mentioned.

    I followed the "Burly Burb Instructions" for my Jimmy and I'm very happy with the way the truck performs now!
