30 spline front 10b

    my truck has the 30 spline rear 10b,does that mean it has a 30 spline front as well? or could it still be 28. axles are stock. truck is an 89

    Most likely the front would also be 30-spline, but you can't really be 100% sure for the '89 model year. A dealership could probably run the VIN and tell you for sure.

    IIRC, The rear changed to 30-spline one year before the front axles. Both changed mid-year too. Rear in 88, front in 89.

    How many spline is an 86' 3/4 D44 axle of a burban?

    All Dana 44 fronts used in GMs were 30-spline.......though they didn't have a factory front Dana 44 in '86......
